At the Brussels Motor Show, Suzuki looks firmly to the future. After a challenging 2025 sales year and a streamlined model range, the brand clearly signals its electric ambitions. These ambitions take centre stage with the European debut of the new e-Vitara, the highlight of the Suzuki stand.
The e-Vitara is Suzuki’s first fully electric production model. Derived from the eVX concept, it brings the well-known Vitara name into the era of zero-emission mobility, supported by an all-new technical platform developed specifically for electric vehicles. Suzuki positions the e-Vitara as a compact and versatile SUV, designed to deliver electric driving without compromising character or everyday usability.
The design follows the “High-Tech & Adventure” concept, blending modern BEV styling with a robust SUV presence. A long wheelbase, large-diameter wheels and bold proportions emphasise its adventurous nature, while the interior focuses on technology and practicality, featuring an integrated digital display, a solid centre console and ruggedly styled door panels.
Technically, the e-Vitara features a fully electric powertrain combining an efficient eAxle with a lithium-iron-phosphate battery, selected for its safety and reliability. Suzuki also brings its renowned all-wheel drive expertise into the electric era. The ALLGRIP-e system uses two independent electric motors on the front and rear axles, delivering strong traction and a dedicated Trail mode for controlled driving on loose or uneven surfaces.
The e-Vitara is built on the new HEARTECT-e platform, developed exclusively for electric vehicles. Its lightweight structure, short overhangs and long wheelbase allow for a spacious cabin and efficient battery integration without compromising passenger comfort.
With the European debut of the e-Vitara at the Brussels Motor Show, Suzuki clearly outlines its electric roadmap for 2026 and beyond. The model combines the brand’s core values of reliability, versatility and adventure with a modern, zero-emission powertrain, marking the starting point of Suzuki’s electric future.
