Yes! In the framework of the Show for Light Commercial Vehicles, Recreational Vehicles, & Motorcycles, FEBIAC is devoting an entire hall to the world of the bicycle. This first edition of "vélo & co" will take place from Friday 11 to Monday 14 January 2013 in Hall 2 at Heysel.

The presence of bicycles at the Auto Show is not really a first, but rather a reappearance after a long absence of over 10 years.

Today, many people have opted for the bicycle as their main means of locomotion. It offers in fact numerous advantages: it’s healthy, fast in the city, non-polluting, and… financially advantageous. FEBIAC, wanting to offer its visitors a Show reflecting current trends as closely as possible, is organising vélo & co within its Commercial Vehicle Show. There are two objectives: FEBIAC wants to highlight the cycling possibilities in our beautiful country and to help promote the gems from the Belgian bicycle sector.

Former racing cyclist Eddy Merckx will be the sponsor of vélo & co. This exhibit brings together electric bicycles associated with automobile brands, folding bicycles, city bicycles, and sport bicycles, as well as various accessories (for example, navigation systems). In addition, a test track with a slight incline will allow you to test the advantages of the electric bicycle.

All visitors are invited to come to Heysel by bicycle starting from Tour & Taxis. Come to Tour & Taxis at 10hr00 with your look, your bicycle, your family and your friends to travel these 4.3 km. A jury will award a prize for the most original outfits!
When you arrive, a parking area exclusively reserved for bicycles awaits you… and free entry valid for the vélo & co show as well as the Auto/Motorcycle/Van show.
